Lady Hornets come in Ninth at Okie Blanchard Invite

The Lady Hornets buzzed their way to the Okie Blanchard Invite track and field meet held at East High School in Cheyenne last Friday. The wind was blowing and slowed the flying Hornets to a 9th place finish in the meet. Only one of the Hornets was able to break the top three placing while seven others were able to make the top 10.

The one shining star for the Hornets this week was Monse Serrano who placed third in the discus with a throw of 99ft 11in. Serrano also placed fifth in the shot put with a 32ft 11in shot. She is giving notice that she will be there at the state competition. Alyssa...
