Hornets host Pine Bluffs Field Extravaganza

The Pine Bluffs High School hosted the Pine Bluffs Field Extravaganza last Thursday. Seven teams from across the state came to tune their talents in preparation for the SEWAC meet on the seventh. Since this was a field event only there were no races. The team did well and the athletes looked ready for the next meet.
Reed Thompson and Stuart Lerwick were the stand out performers. Reed Thompson took first in the high jump getting over 5ft 4in. Stuart Lerwick took second in the triple jump with a jump of 39ft 4in and third in the discus with a toss of 130ft 7in. Travis Lerwick took second in the high jump just behind Thompson with a leap of 5ft 2in.
A good warm up for the SEWAC on the seventh. The following is how the team did.
