The Lady Hornets track and field team also competed in the state championship meet held last week. The Lady Hornets now have three individual event state champions and one team event state champion. The Lady Hornets took home four first place finishes with four state titles.
The 4x800 relay team of Merina Theobald, Janie Davis, Maddie Brown and Alexis DePaulitte took first place in the race with a winning time of 11min 47.55sec and the state title in the 2A division.
