The Pine Bluffs Hornets varsity football team is on the road to the state championship. They beat the Big Piney Punchers last Friday in the first round of the play-offs. The score is a bit mis-leading as the Punchers gave the Hornets about as much as they could handle. The Hornets took it all in stride and held their own. The defense did not let the Punchers offense into the end zone. The Hornets defense would bend but would not break.
