Otto Marquart Honored by the Laramie County Republican Party

The Laramie County Republican Party held its annual Veterans' Appreciation Breakfast on Saturday, November 5th. Each year they select at least one veteran to honor for their service. One of the selectees this year was Merlin Otto Marquart from Pine Bluffs. Otto was born in Strues Farm, Nebraska on December 9, 1939 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1958. He was discharged in 1961 to attend college at Midwestern University where he completed a degree in education. He taught school in Colorado until he chose to retire in Pine Bluffs.
