Lady Hornets struggle in the 2A East Smackdown Tourney 1-3

The Lady Hornets basketball team started the second half of the season on Thursday in the 2A East Girls Smackdown tournament. The Hornets would face four teams, the Big Horn Lady Rams, Tongue River Lady Eagles, Sundance Lady Bulldogs and the Wright Lady Tigers. The Lady Hornets would come out of the tournament with a 1-3 record for a 3-9 seasonal record.

First off for the Lady Hornets would be the Big Horn Lady Rams. After a slow start last year, 2-6, the Lady Hornets were anxious to get back onto the court and back into the game. Jessica Hoffman was dominant leading the way in scoring.
