With all the sports activities cancelled this past weekend it might be a good time to take a look at how the teams are doing and how a team's rankings is determined.

For the Pine Bluffs Hornets boy's basketball team, as of January 26th the boys are ranked #4 in the state, #2 in the state 2A conference and #1 in the 2A Southeast conference. In looking at the boys record the Hornets have the best record in the state of all the teams at 14-2. So why are they not #1.
