The Pine Bluffs Hornets have finished the state tournament in first place. The Hornets are the Wyoming 2A State Champions. With a combined score of 188 points in the tournament the Hornets were able to take home the trophy. For the second year in a row the Hornets are state champions.
It started with the game against Kemmerer. The Hornets had just come off the loss in the regional championship game against Big Horn and had their sights set on the state championship. The Hornets dominated the Kemmerer Rangers from start to finish. They scored 26 points in the first quarter to set the pace....
