The Lady Hornets track and field team traveled to Bayard, Nebraska to compete in the Bayard C&D Invitational Track and Field Meet. As a team they placed seventh in the meet with 48 points. There were 15 other teams competing at the meet from all around the area.

Some of the Lady Hornets did very well. Alyssa Slade continued to show her dominance in the high jump by beating her record setting jump of 5ft 2in at state by hitting the 5ft 4in mark and setting a new school record.
