Burns Day, Dance classes, Senior Center major topic at Council

Dance classes and the Senior Center was on the agenda at the Burns council meeting on May 28th. There has been more people attending the council meetings in Burns. It shows that the people are very active in the community.

Burns Day is on June 8th and all the town residents are trying to get ready for the day. Mayor Joseph Nicholson said, “Main Street is done with the concrete. They have only the apron on Luther Street to finish the project.” Council member Judy Johnstone informed the council that Dennis Bastian is hoping to have Betty’s Wall ready for Burns Day.
