Pine Bluffs Roping Club Kicks off Season

The Pine Bluffs Roping Club kicked off its 2024 season with a Team Roping rodeo last Friday evening. The cows were fast, and the cowboys and cowgirls' ropes were looped and swinging. The event attracts ropers from all over the area, Cheyenne, Bridgeport, Carpenter, Potter and many other cities. It used to be a full rodeo with hundreds of participants and spectators, but as the times changed, they knocked it down to just team roping. There were 76 teams that competed for the cash prizes.
