    Last Tuesday nine Hornets signed their letters of commitment to attend Laramie County Community College (LCCC) for the 2024/25 year. According to Principal Sweeter, "It seems that more and more students are electing to go to a two-year college than a four year one".     Seven students from the Burns Junior/Senior High School signed their letters of commitment last Wednesday. Dawn Sanchez from the University was there to help welcome the students and answer questions. Mrs. Sanchez's son, Cooper Sanchez, is a student there at Burns.     The Broncs track and field team is riding high as they head into Regionals. The team has won four meets over the season and has some great athletes who have been dominating their sports. The Broncs finished the regional meet in eighth place last weekend and had four top three finishes and 17 top 10 finishers. Additionally, 18 Broncs set new personal records during the meet.     The Lady Broncs took to the road and headed north to Sundance to compete in the Wyoming 1A-2A East Regional track meet. The Lady Broncs did well as a team finishing fourth in the meet. Four of the Lady Broncs managed to finish in the top three while as a team they had 28 top-10 finishes. Some of the athletes saved their best for last and set new personal records in the meet.     The Pine Bluffs Hornets boy's track and field team had a tough time at regionals. The team managed an eighth place finish and only had two athletes that finished in the top three positions.     The Lady Hornets bussed north to the city of Sundance, Wyoming to compete in the Wyoming 1A-2A East Regionals Track and Field meet.     The Pine Bluffs Clay Target shooting team took a trot east to Kimball, Nebraska to shoot in a fun match against the Kimball team.
