Burns' Malli O'Neal, left, gets ready to attack the Lady Tiger defense as the Lady Broncs traveled to Lusk last weekend. The Burns girls went 1-2 last week, losing to Mitchell, Neb. 52-35 and Niobrara County 49-23, but beating Glenrock, 33-22.

The Burns Lady Broncs were on the road all last week, starting the action in Mitchell, Neb. on January 10, where they fell 68-17.

The Lady Broncs rebounded on Friday with a 33-22 win over Glenrock, but fell 49-23 to Niobrara County on Saturday.

"Against Glenrock, it was a complete team win," said head coach Barry Ward. "The kids' effort was good, we just turned the ball over too many times but found a way to win. At Lusk, we just played really flat and could not find a way to get any traction."
