Keiter gains experience working with animals through FFA

Burns High School FFA member Emily Keiter has been involved in the organization for seven years. She says she has gained valuable knowledge through the club, especially when it comes to working with livestock.

Burns High School student Emily Keiter is a member of the livestock team and the parli pro team for the school's FFA chapter.

"I mainly show sheep," said Keiter. "I won a few awards. I was either champion for showmanship and then I had the FFA heavyweight champion lamb."

Keiter, a junior at BHS, has been involved in FFA for the past seven years. She enjoys the hands-on experience of working with animals. She loves it so much, that sometimes she likes to make sure everything is just right.
