A Cheyenne woman faces more than a dozen charges after she was arrested following a high-speed pursuit that ended near Egbert last week.

According to a Wyoming Highway Patrol press release, Natsha Jo Dawn Patnode, 29, was arrested late Tuesday night following a pursuit that originated in Cheyenne.

The previous night, Patnode was observed traveling 104 mph in a posted 75 mph zone on Interstate 25. When troopers attempted to stop her, she fled into Colorado before the chase was terminated, the patrol alleges.

Tuesday night, Patnode was observed speeding in a 30 mph zone in Cheyenne.

Patnode allegedly fled eastbound on Interstate 80 with the highway patrol in pursuit.

When the pursuit was near Egbert, Patnode crashed her vehicle and sustained injuries, but she was able to flee on foot. She was arrested following a short foot chase, according to the patrol.

An unidentified state trooper’s vehicle was damaged and the trooper sustained minor injuries.

Patnode was treated at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center before being booked into the Laramie County Detention Facility.

She is charged with 12 traffic related charges including fleeing, interference with a peace officer, speeding, reckless driving, driving the wrong direction, no insurance among other charges.

According to her booking sheet, Patnode had an active Laramie County arrest warrant for four counts of child endangerment.

She was booked on $10,000 cash bond.
