Pine Bluffs Town Council members on Monday passed a resolution paving the way to relocate the Main Street railroad crossing.
The council briefly discussed the resolution at their meeting earlier this month, but did not take any formal action. Monday’s resolution begins the process of relocating the crossing from North Main Street to Butler Street in Pine Bluffs.
Mayor Alan Curtis said the resolution has been a pet project of his over the past few years.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation will work with Union Pacific Railroad and the town. It’s expected to cost about $650,000 to complete,...
