Doug Fornstrom participates in a dodgeball game as a part of Pine Bluffs High School's homecoming week Tuesday.

The Pine Bluffs Hornets are road tripping to victory.

Or at least that's what they're saying about their homecoming celebrations this week.

On Monday students at the school were seen wearing their pajamas because it was like being in the car all day - like on a road trip.

Get it?

Tuesday, they were seen rocking gear from their tourist destinations.

Some students celebrated nearby places like Yellowstone National Park while others celebrated farther away destinations.

Wednesday brought back sights reminiscent of the Flower Power era with students dressing in tie-dye and bell bottoms.

Thursday is spirit day. The halls at PBHS will feature students dressed in their purple and gold.

The Lady Hornets netters will play at 4 p.m.

Friday marks the home football game which will feature a state title rematch between Big Horn and Pine Bluffs. The game starts at 5 p.m.

After that, a students will enjoy a bonfire in the PBHS parking lot.

Maybe they'll get to celebrate a homecoming victory, too.
