For the better part of a decade, local organizations have businesses have come together to put on Touch a Truck and Tractor each year.

Like its name implies, the event gives children a chance to see heavy equipment like tractors, fire trucks and tractor trailer’s up close.

This year, something new is being added to the event: The Pine Bluffs Fall Festival.

“We wanted to ramp it up this year — offer a few more things for more people,” said Pine Bluffs Recreation Director Sonja Fornstrom.

Fornstrom said 25 different vendors will be set up inside the Pine Bluffs Community Center.

Old School Catering will provide food for the event which will include pie, cinnamon rolls and pulled pork, among other food items.

Laramie County Fire District 5 will have different vehicles for children to peruse.

There will also be hay rides, face painters and a bounce house.

Touch and Truck and Tractor and the Fall Festival is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13 at the Pine Bluffs Community Center located at 708 Lawson Street.

It is free and open to the public.
