Lady Hornets grab top seed at regionals

The Lady Hornets punched their ticket to the postseason in style, grabbing a top seed in the Wyoming 2A East Regional Volleyball Tournament.

In their final regular season game, the Lady Hornets defeated Lusk in three: 25-19, 25-7 and 25-20.

It seems they’re catching their rhythm at just the right time.

“Our defense and passing were spot on,” said head coach Lisa Gilbert of Friday’s win over Lusk. “I am pleased with where we are going into regionals.”

The Lady Hornets will face Moorcroft, who has the No. 4 seed.
