It was nothing short of a nail-biter when the Lady Hornets hosted their first basketball game of the year Saturday, Dec. 15.

Playing the Holyoke, Colo. Lady Dragons, Pine Bluffs didn't taste its first lead of the afternoon until late in the third quarter.

Saturday afternoon's match up was a back and forth affair for the Lady Hornets and Lady Dragons.

Pine Bluffs led 13-10 at the end of the first quarter.

At the end of the second quarter, the lead had changed to 25-21 Holyoke, thanks to a 15-8 run by the Dragons.

At the end of the third quarter, the game was tied at 32 apiece.
