Understanding the 6 Penny Tax

In this day and age the question many people will ask themselves when it comes time to vote is whether or not their vote even counts for anything. That question is especially relevant when it comes to Wyoming’s optional one cent tax, or in this area better known as the “six penny money”. Although many folks will faithfully show up to the polls whenever they are open, not everyone will understand exactly what they are voting for especially when it comes to the propositions that often come at the end of the ballot. Hopefully, this will clarify that for most.
