The football season is officially over for the Pine Bluffs Hornets with their loss to the Niobrara County Tigers this last Friday. With a final score of 48/21 the Hornets are looking forward to next year. "The season didn't go according to how we wanted, but we now know what we need to work on during the offseason---blocking, tackling, and being physical." Coach Gray stated.

While the Hornets couldn't seem to find their footing this season, they played with heart and conviction. The departing seniors are #8 Justus Golding, #9 Michael Shain, #13 Clayton Haug, #14 Donte Jacobsen, #54 Seth Waldroupe, #55 Brian Steger, #56 Kyle Thurin, and #72 Thayne Vialpando. It's hard to go out on such a rough season, but these boys played hard and deserve the recognition of giving their all. Coach Gray said. "Our seniors gave us 4 years of hard work, and we'd like to thank them."

Good luck with your future endeavors boys. The Post wishes you all the best.
