In the regular session of the Burns town council last Monday the council unanimously agreed to implement a 100 dollar charge for those seeking treatment from EMS workers, but do not require transport. In an effort to combat growing costs from the billing company the council agreed that the new charge would help to offset those growing costs while still enabling the Burns EMS workers to respond to those calls that won’t require a ride to the hospital.
