Pine Bluffs Distilling held its second annual corgi derby on Saturday, Sept. 5 as a fundraiser for the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.

"We care for about 6000 animals a year," said Sue Castaneda, Cheyenne Animal Shelter CEO. "This fundraiser will help fund a spay day in September. All animals that come from us are spayed or neutered, but his will help to keep costs low for people who bring in outside animals."

The races consisted of multiple corgi rounds and a final mutt round. Dog owners would occupy separate ends of the lane, one person to release the dog and one at the finish line for encourage...
