Burns recovers from shutout, beats Tongue River

The Broncs beat Tongue River 16-7 in their first home game of the season on Friday, Sept. 11.

"We will keep trying to find a little more balance in our offense and hopefully continue to get stops and take care of the football," said Brad Morrison, head coach.

Burns had 137 yards rushing and 114 yards passing.

No. 12 Cody Hape had 1 carry for 3 yards, No. 20 Joel Morales had 11 for 52 yards, No. 32 Riley McLaughlin had 25 for 90 yards, No. 18 Caden David had 7 for a loss of 6 yards, and No. 3 Cooper Lakin had 3 for a loss of 2 yards.

No. 18 David was 3-for-7 passing for 114 yards.
