New use for oil production byproduct water to make history in Pine Bluffs

Encore Green Environmental plans to hold the first U.S. land application of cleaned produced water in Pine Bluffs, Wyo. on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m., a historic solution for the oil production byproduct water that has previously been left to evaporate or had to be hauled out and placed into storage, said Marvin Nash, EGE senior advisor.
"We currently have a standing permit, but on the 29th, if all the results come back how we think they're going to, we will have a permit to finally ground apply that water," said Nash.
