The Pine Bluffs Hornets varsity basketball team is off to a good start this year. With a 2 and 1 record there are sound signs for a great season but still there is room for improvement. Their first loss against Wheatland 68 to 55 was a heart breaker. Played on 10 Dec.

Their next game played on 11 Dec against Moorcroft showed signs of significant improvement. This gave them their first win with a 46 to 57 victory. The team improved their offensive efforts by 2 points and held their opponents to 46 points.
