Pine Bluffs Post - Serving all of Eastern Laramie County since 1908

The popular cake wars has come to Pine Bluffs High School. Teacher, Nicole Horrocks in her food class not only teaches cooking, and baking, but she encourages a couple of competitions. Early this year, there was cupcake wars, and now the students have competed on a larger scale than cupcakes.

Taking first place was a M&M cake. Jace Slade, Kashten Martinez, and Tyler Christofferson were bakers and decorators.

Coming in second place was a Polar Bear Cave Cake. This was a team effort of Cathy Purdue, Courtney Vallance
