Coach Barry Ward stated, "You just can't start a game that flat. We came out and got down early and we tried to fight back the entire game. You just can't do that against good teams. We were down 15 in the first quarter and I think the game was about 15. I was really proud of the way the kids played in the second half. I thought they played with a lot of energy and a lot of effort in the second half but you just can't get off to that poor of a start".

Rylee Jo Ward leads the team in points per game average with 20.5. The national average in this category is 4.5. She also leads in rebounds per game with 10. The national average is 3.1. Jaden Gipfert leads the team in assists per game with 3 and steals per game with 3. The national average in these categories is 0.9 and 1.2. Kylie Gellegos is averaging .5 blocks per game and the national average is .3.
