Pine Bluffs wakes to a fresh blanket of snow

The residents of Pine Bluffs woke up Tuesday, December 29 to a frigid snowfall with temperatures dipping into the teens in the early morning hours. This was not the most snow the area has seen, however, it was still enough to cause road closures.
In the early hours of the day Interstate 80 was closed eastbound all the way from Pine Bluffs to Omaha due to an accident in Nebraska.
The Cheyenne weather service reported a whopping 1.4 inches at 5:00 a.m. at the weather station. The snow accumulation wasn't horrible but travel conditions were not the best through the area as there was some ice...
