When most people think about Valentine's day the thought of fancy dinners and romantic getaways or flowers are just a few of the things that come to mind. However not many people know the theories behind the romantic holiday.

One theory is not quite as romantic as today's holiday, in this version it's believed that the early Romans initiated the idea of Valentine's day.
