Broncs Field & Track

The Burns Broncs Track and Field team competed in the Bayard Invitational C-D meet on April 10th. The team did well and placed in the top on numerous events.

On the girls side:

In the 400m run Sienna Gallegos placed 14th with a time of 1:13.95 seconds. Brooke Hansen placed 16th. In the 800m run Saria Eklund placed 9th with a time of 2:56.70 seconds. In the 1600m run Emma Gonzalez took 1st with a time of 5:41.31 seconds and Layne Burnett took 3rd with a time of 5;53.89 seconds. In the 3200m run Emma Gonzalez again took 1st place with a time of 11:54.42 seconds.
