"Let's go, let's go" is the start of a cheer for twenty-four girls attending Cheer Camp on April 23 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Alex Gilbert has been putting on the camp for six years. She started because she wanted a cheer daughter. Instead of one of her own she ended up with 24 others.
Gilbert does the basics for younger kids and a little more for the older girls. The girls work on stretching muscles, moving to jump positions on the floor, of which pike and split was the main ones.
