The Burns Town Council meeting started off with the swearing in by town clerk Toni Shiery of the not so newly elected Mayor, James Clark, who is not a novice at this post as he was mayor last term. With that being completed Mayor Clark completed the swearing in of the new town council members, Dennis Bastian and Rick Lakin. With the formal oaths taken care of the council could get down to business.New assignments were set up for each council member.
