Albin American Legion and Auxiliary hand out cookies to bring attention to EMT shortage

Cookies by the dozen were home made by the Albin American Legion Auxiliary Ladies to help recruit EMT’s and ambulance drivers for Albin.

On Thursday afternoon July 8th the Albin American Legion Auxiliary Ladies brought in two dozen or more cookies each to put in bags for the recruiting table. Two to three cookies were put in each bag and tied up with the legion poppy flower. Each bag was marked if it had peanut butter or nuts to be safe. The Auxiliary ladies were more than happy to help try and get people interested in the program. "We need the ambulance." the ladies said.
