The first annual Conner Graves-Tyler Morgan Memorial Corn Hole Tournament was out at the Pine Bluffs Distilling area on Sunday, August 8th.

This was started by Ryan Graves and Kyle May. The idea was to promote Forbes business at first, but with Conner and Tyler so close to their hearts it was a better cause. The money will be put in a scholarship fund every year.

From the tragedy of Graves and Morgans' lives, this is one way of giving back to the community. Forty-one teams participated this year.

They started with three pools of teams. In the pools the teams can play three times. Once the winners were decided then they were put in a bracket. From the bracket you can lose twice then you are out. Some almost made it to the winner by the loser side.

The contestants came from Kansas, Pinedale, Wyoming, and local. The support has been great. The family has donations from Mark and Fanny Haukap, Chad Brown, The Knotty Pine Saloon, Randy Jessop, Mike and Trystin Green, and Kyle May.

The day may have been hot but it was a great turn out. Forbes said, " This is our first year. We have learned a lot. Look out for next year it will be better."

Winners: first place Matt Nelson from Burns and Justin McDonald from Pinedale, second place Steve Kauffman and Robert Gardner from Kimball, third place Lindsey Forbes and Carleen Graves from Pine Bluffs, fourth place Vicki Wasut and Maureen Kinkade from Cheyenne, fifth place Josh and Amber Imel from Burns.
