The Burns Broncs football team traveled to Tongue River to take on the Eagles football team. The Broncs were anxious to get their first win of the season against the Eagles but the Eagles were not going to have it. The Broncs lost to the Eagles 12-8. Coach Morrison had this to say about the game. "Obviously, you play to win the game and we didn't get that done. You'll hear no excuses from me. Credit to Tongue River, they're a well-coached team and they edged us out in a tough one. There's a lot to work on, but there is a lot of season left and we will continue to get better day by day. “
