Live music at the Knotty Pine Saloon

"The Randy Burghardt Band was live at the Knotty Pine Saloon" on the evening of September 3, 2021.
Originally from South Dakota Burghardt started his love for music at a young age with piano lessons. Later he took up guitar and at the age of 12 started writing songs. He was involved in a music program through high school then started playing in bands at 15.
In 2012 Burghardt moved to Cheyenne Wyoming to be more centralized.
He was nominated for the 2016 Rocky Mountain Country Music Association Song of the Year, and the 2017 Rocky Mountain CMA Songwriter of the Year. Burghardt is lead singer and acoustic guitarist of his band.
Spencer Gonzalez, lead guitarist of the band is also a recording artist, singer, songwriter, and producer. He has an album titled "Untold." Gonzalez has been in several famous bands. He now lives in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. When asked why in a smaller band? He said, "I can work on my music and produce music in my home."
Jesse Lee the bass guitarist lives in Fort Collins, Colorado. Lee had been in the band Harley and the V-Twins. He is also a songwriter.
Drummer Mark Carberry has played with many bands such as Minutes Notice, Harmony Road, Opus, and Rare Moment, some of which have opened for Bachman Turner Overdrive (BTO), Grand Funk Railroad, Three Dog Night, Steppenwolf, Eric Burden & the Animals and ZZ Top to name a few.
Carberry has his own band but likes playing in Burghardt's band. He loves the area.
Burghardt said, "We're booked into the next year. Covid has only slowed us down for a week." He is looking forward to making an album this year. Burghardt loves his job and the people.
