The Pine Bluffs Hornets Boys varsity basketball team is sitting in a good position to go to the state championship tournament. In the 2A Southeast Conference they are sitting on top with a 5-2 record. Niobrara County is in the second seat and Glenrock is third. In the Wyoming Class 2A Conference they are seated number 2. Big Piney is sitting on top with a 3-1 record and Tongue River is in the third spot.

The Hornets next game will be on Friday, January 7 at 11:30am. It will be a neutral non-conference game against the 5-3 Shoshoni Wranglers. Should be a good and hard fought game.
