The last and final contest for Miss Rodeo Wyoming Rachel Derner was held at the Miss Rodeo America in Las Vegas, Nevada December 2021.

It was a fast learning experience in eight days for this Burns, Wyoming resident. She is a Burns High School graduate 2015. Derner arrived in Las Vegas, NV., two days before the contest with her friend Miss Rodeo South Dakota. Once all the contestants checked in, their phones were taken away. No communication allowed except through the pageant officials.
