Margie Ruth Bruns 1925-2022

Margie Bruns, 96, died March 8, 2022 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, WY.  Margie was born October 15, 1925 to Frank & Mary (Vosika) Kokes on their homestead farm near Crook, Colorado. She graduated from Beauty School and was licensed in both NE and CO.  During World War II she worked as a forklift operator loading bombs and ammunition in the Sioux Ordinance Depot near Sidney, NE.  She married Chester Bruns on December 10, 1944 and lived on the Bruns Family Homestead near Lodgepole, NE until they purchased their own farm NW of Pine Bluffs, WY in 1951.  Margie then dedicated her...
