The Burns Track and Field team were able to stretch their legs and shake off some of the dust at the John Ganser Invite Track and Field meet last Saturday. Ten teams from across the region both in Wyoming and Nebraska competed in the first meet of the season. Emma Gonzalez continued her run to be the best long distance runner in the district. Rylee Jo Ward pressed her strength as a hurdler and Jackson Kirkbride started his run for the top spot in the triple jump.
