2022 State Academic Decathlon Awards Burns High School

Burns High School competed in the Wyoming State Academic Decathlon Competition on March 27-28 in Casper. Students study a very challenging curriculum and compete in 10 different areas: Science, Math, Social Science, Art, Music, Economics, Literature, Speech, Interview, and Superquiz. The 2022 theme was water. In Casper, students delivered prepared and impromptu speeches. They also participated in interviews. Academic Decathlon gives students a great opportunity to get outside of their comfort zones and learn material beyond normal classroom lessons.
