Two students received the bronze Congressional Achievement Award from Burns High School in Burns, Wy. On April 3rd at the Cheyenne Civic Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming Senator John Barrasso, Senator Cynthia Lummis and Congresswoman Liz Cheney presented Congressional Achievement Awards.
The Congressional Achievement Award was started in Wyoming in 1979. There are four areas the students need to participate in. They are Volunteer Public Service, Physical Fitness, Personal Development, and Expedition. The students volunteer from 100 to 400 hours in public service. The students ages range from...
