This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. It’s an important week and we wanted to express our gratitude to the first first-responders who often don’t get the recognition they deserve. We are talking about the dedicated men and women that answer the call when you press 9-1-1. Dispatchers at the Laramie County Combined Communication Center (LCCCC) and the Wyoming Highway Patrol Communications Center may not be at the emergency scene but are vital in initiating the response 9-1-1 callers need.
