The heat is high and so were the bids for the night. The Hillsdale Ladies sponsored a Benefit for Jay Beavers on July 22nd. Beavers was on a call when he fell from a firetruck. He is a volunteer firefighter for the Burns/Hillsdale Fire Department. When he fell he broke his wrist in several places. Because of that he could not go back to work. The fundraiser was to help assist with bills for housing, food and medical expenses. His accident happened in the first part of June and he is still healing from the breaks.

On this night the Hillsdale Ladies wanted to raise as much money as possible...
