Dawn Smith places at Laramie County Fair

Colorful glass that was soldered together is what Dawn Smith does. At the Laramie County Fair, Dawn Smith received lots of ribbons for her projects.

Smith has only been working on stained glass for eighteen months. She had a friend encourage her to take a one-day class. Smith and her daughter Jennifer Winslow did it together. She figured she could teach 4-H members to make projects. Smith loves the colors and the different patterns to create the projects. After the one-day class they decided to take a six-week class.
