I harvested my first pinto beans yesterday to try a new baked bean recipe. It was good but not as good as my wife's recipe. That's the best way to use those vegetables you been growing all summer...direct from the garden to the table. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way for long. If you did well you'll have more vegetables than you can possibly eat right away.
