I've tried growing watermelons and didn't do well. They were tasty but very small. Really not even large enough for a serving for one person. So when I heard about the giant watermelons Tim and Alisha Michaud were growing, I have to admit I was skeptical. You see, watermelons aren't supposed to grow here, at least not the big ones.
