The lights were bright and the community was full of activities. The start of the Christmas season was in Pine Bluffs. Every year the first Monday in December the town of Pine Bluffs celebrates Christmas at Home.
A parade started the festivities by going down Main Street from south to north. In the middle of the intersection by Farmers State bank was a Christmas tree. Santa Claus was chauffeured to the tree to light it up and start the Christmas season while some caroling around the Christmas tree could be heard.
